# How the Affiliate Program in Shopjar works

Our Affiliate Program Can Work for You:

1. Sign up:
   * We have a dedicated page where customers can sign up as affiliates. The admin can approve affiliates by reviewing the details they have provided.
2. Affiliate Approval:
   * Once approved, affiliates will receive access to a unique link that they can share with their friends, family, or customers.
3. Customized Coupon Code:
   * If desired, you can create a customized coupon code for affiliates to offer discounts to their customers. This code can be linked to the affiliate.
4. Affiliate Reward:
   * Affiliates earn commissions based on purchases made using their unique link and customized coupon code. You have the option to approve commissions manually or automatically.
5. Import Option:
   * There is an option to import your existing customer service affiliate program into Shopjar.

By following these steps, you can efficiently manage your affiliate program and reward affiliates for their successful referrals.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.shopjar.co/faq/how-the-affiliate-program-in-shopjar-works.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
