# Claim Reward \&Checkout with the same email address

When a referral reward is claimed using an email address that is **enabled**, the reward will be **linked exclusively to that specific email address**. This means the discount or reward cannot be transferred or used by anyone else.

At checkout, the system will validate the customer’s email. The reward will only be applied if the checkout email matches the email address that was originally used to claim the reward in the pop-up.

This approach ensures:

* **Fair use** — only the intended recipient can redeem the reward.
* **Fraud prevention** — rewards cannot be misused or shared with unauthorized customers.
