# How to bind the coupon code to the affiliate in the member's section

**Steps to create a Customized coupon for Affiliate**

Go to Shopify Dashboard > Navigate to Discount Section > Create Discount > Choose Amount off Products or Amount Off orders > Discount Code > Save the coupon code and Bind the coupon code.

**Steps to bind the coupon code for Affiliate**\

Go to Shopify Dashboard > Apps > Referral Program - Shopjar > Members > Choose the Affiliate > Doted Line > Paste the code that you created in the Shopify discount section > Click Save.
