A referral is when someone recommends a product, service, or business to another person. For example, if you tell your friend about a great skincare product you love, and your friend decides to try it because of your recommendation, you have made a referral. ## What is a referral Program? A referral program is a marketing strategy where a business encourages its current customers to recommend the business to others. When these recommendations lead to new customers, both the person who referred and the new customer may receive rewards, You can create a referral program in Shopjar by following these steps: #### Steps to create Referrer Reward 1. From the Dashboard -> Referral Program -> General 2. Click "Create Reward" -> Referrer (Creating Reward for Existing Customer)

4. Enter a captivating name and description 5. Click Create "Referrer" program

#### Steps for Creating Friend/Referee Reward 1. From the Dashboard -> Referral Program-> General 2. Click "Create Reward" -> Friend (Creating Reward for New Customer through referral link)

4. Enter a captivating name and description 5. Click Create '**Friend**' program
