Tiered commissions based on affiliate sale volume or number of referrals

Learn how to reward your affiliates based on their sale volume or number of referrals. Example: 10% commission if total affiliate sale reaches $1000, 15% commission for up to $5000, 20% for $10000

In this doc let's learn about how to give tiered commission for your affiliates based on their network of followers spent amount.

For example:

• Get 10% commission if affiliate sale/ network of follower's sale reaches $1000

• Get 15% commission if affiliate sale reaches $5000

• Get 20% commission if affiliate sale reaches $10000

By creating so, if network of followers spends more, Advocate will earn more.

For offering tiered commission for affiliates, we need to create separate Rewards for each differing subtotal range.

For creating Affiliate Reward:

Navigate to Shopify -> Apps -> ReferralGo -> Programs(Affiliate) -> click on "Create a reward"

Scenario 1:

Reward 1 -> Get 10% commission if affiliate sale/ network of follower's sale reaches $1000

• Give a Title for the Reward "Get 10% commission if affiliate sale reaches $1000"

• Choose the Reward type as "Percentage commission on each affiliate sale" and set 10% (The reward type can be Fixed commission based on your choice).

• Using "Add condition" option -> add two additional condition (Each referral order value should be) and cap the values

• Each referral order value should be - refers to the total order value of network of followers/ affiliate's referral cart.

Scenario 2:

Reward 2 -> Get 15% commission if affiliate sale reaches $5000

• Set the percentage commission as 15 and add two additional conditions (Each referral order value should be) and cap the values.

Similarly, we need to create separate Rewards for each ranges.

How this tiered commission reward works ?

Let's say a network of follower (customer A) completed an order by spending greater than $5000, using the affiliate URL.

As soon this customer A completed an order, affiliate will earn 15% commission from $5,935

Here is the screenshot of Affiliate Dashboard:

As you can see, using my affiliate URL -> customer A spent $5,935. Hence I have earned a 15% Reward (15% off $5,935 is $890.25).

Likewise based on affiliate referral's total order amount, affiliate will earn different Percentage commission respectively.
