Managing Referral Sales

Learn how to track the referral sales in detail.

This guide will show where to track the referral sales, where to get detailed reports and how advocates can track their referrals using ReferralGo app.

Let's see the below sections one by one:

• Sales (can view as an administrator)

• Reports (can view as an administrator)

• Advocate Dashboard (can view this page as an advocate and as administrator)

Sales:

Navigate to Shopify -> Apps -> ReferralGo -> Sales tab

In Sales tab of Referral, there are three sections: View all, Advocate, Friend

In Sale tab -> Sales -> Referral -> View all, we can view the both advocate and friends sales.

Date - represents the date in which advocate/ friend placed an order using the referral code.

Advocate - section shows the advocate name and email ID.

Sales - section shows the order total done by advocate/ friend, referral code used by them while placing order and their name and email ID respectively.

Program - section shows whether the order is done by advocate or by friend and shows the Reward Title which he/ she earned the reward by.

Advocate and Friend tab is same as "View all", but will display only Advocates/ Friends info accordingly.

Also, from the search bar we can filter a advocate/ a friend using their email ID/ name.

Reports:

Navigate to Shopify -> Apps -> ReferralGo -> Reports tab

In Reports tab -> Reports -> Referral rewards, we can get the detailed reports for Advocate.

Date - represents the date in which advocate/ friend placed an order using the referral code.

Advocate - section shows the advocate name and email ID.

Reward - section shows the type of reward earned/ used by the advocate and coupon code.

Info - section shows the Reward Title and for referring whom (ie..,friend's email ID)

Status - section shows the status of the Reward.

Update Status - as an admin we can update claimed reward status as approved or cancel or mark it as Fraud and so on...

We can also sort advocates based on the reward "status" or search using their name or email ID.

Advocate Dashboard:

Referral link - we can copy and share the referral link as an advocate to our friends.

Social share icons - we can share the referral link via socail share options too.

Total Sales - refers to the total order count done by new customers using the referral URL of advocate's.

Total Rewards - refers to the total Reward earned by Advocate while friend completing his purchase.

Date - section shows the coupon code earned by Advocate and the date and time of order completed by friend

Customer - section shows the friends email ID

Order Value - refers to the total order value of Friend's.
